Procedure to create ACES account

ACES stands for Automation of Central Excise and Service Tax, it is designed to automate Various processes of Central Excise and Service Tax.

 



An assessee who has registered with ACES
  • Can obtain registration online,
  • Can file periodic Returns online,
  • Easy to file claims and intimations,
  • Track status of return and claims and intimations, 
  • easy to get updated registration online,
  • Easy to get online messages and intimations.

Steps to create a ACES account 


1. Go to the website www.aces.gov.in
2. In the menu select the service tax option for registration under service tax or select central excise for Registration under Excise act, 


3. On the login page select "click here to register with ACES"

4. Fill all the required details and after filling the details click on submit,

5. After submitting you will a conformation page as follows 


6. You will receive the password through the email provided in step 4

7.  Use the Username(given in step 4) and password login into aces.

8. On your first login.in to aces you will have to reset the password and put a custom Password
